ALL the lotteries, draws, compensation schemes, inheritances, payment agent or mystery shopper jobs and business proposals offering huge sums of money are SCAMS. You CAN'T WIN a lottery or prize draw you HAVEN'T ENTERED. Please don't post comments asking if the SCAMS you have received are real. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS IN A COMMENT ASKING SCAMMERS TO CONTACT YOU (yes, people really do this regularly!)

Fw: This is about my son Michael, Please love and take care of him

Get out your tissues folks – take your seat ready for this heart-rending weepy.  I’m sure if it starred Meryl Streep and Colin Firth it would be a number one best seller on DVD.  Maybe this scammer should be writing Mills and Boon novels for a living rather than trying to steal money from random victims.

And who in their right mind would ask a total stranger, contacted randomly by email, to take care [Continue reading Fw: This is about my son Michael, Please love and take care of him]

RE

Yawn.  I’ve that so many emails from, so called, American soldiers who just happen to have been there when Saddam Husseins millions were found and who just happen to have helped themselve and who just happen to need my help.  If I added up all the money I have, apparently, been offered it would amount to several times the total amount found.

None of them are real, of course.  They’re all written by scammers [Continue reading RE]

serious alert especially for ladies

It’s been a while since I was sent a hoax warning email.  The language in which they are written is always the giveaway.  Shock, horror language and they always ask you to forward to everyone you know or, in this case, pass to your women friends.  This simply makes you a spammer.

NEVER pass on a shock, horror warning unless a) you have written it yourself from personal experience, or b) you have checked [Continue reading serious alert especially for ladies]
