The subject line of this scam email isn’t in “proper” English, it doesn’t address you by name and the UK Inland Revenue NEVER send out random emails telling you of a tax refund. They send you a proper letter, on headed paper, including your real name, your real address and your real tax reference number.
If you make the mistake of filling in the attached form you will be giving the scammers all of your credit card details. You won’t receive a refund – you will find your credit card being used illegally.
