PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE USING THIS BLOG.
ALL of the lotteries, draws, compensation schemes, inheritances, payment agent jobs, mystery shopper jobs and business proposals involving large sums of money that you receive by email ARE SCAMS. NO ORGANISATION ANYWHERE EVER holds random email draws. They are ALL SCAMS. You CANNOT WIN a lottery or prize draw that you HAVE NOT ENTERED.
Please don't post comments asking me if the scams you have received are real. I can't answer them all and you KNOW they are scams!
A reader from South Africa sent me this SCAM. They commented that internet SCAMS are a huge problem “and the heart-sore of it all is that people that can’t really afford to, is the people falling for it.”.
If you read the comments on this blog you will see just how true that is. The Majority of commenters here who have fallen for SCAMS are people who live in poorer countries, whose first language [Continue reading TAGGED PROMOTION… CONGRATULATIONS!!!]
The Bank of Burkina Faso seems to have a disproportionate amount of (ex) clients who perished in nasty accidents leaving millions of dollars in their bank account.
This scammer asks me to “Please we would likeyou to keep this proposal as a top secret and delete if You are not interested.” Why Does he ask me that? Because he doesn’t want someone like me telling the whole world that [Continue reading PLEASE HELP ME]
“Stephen Glover” sent his scam as a pdf attachment – presumably in the misguided belief that a) my spam filter wouldn’t spot it and b) someone like me wouldn’t be able to reproduce the text on a website. Sorry Mr “Glover” – here it is.
Yes – Mr Glover is a scammer. He doesn’t work for any church in the USA or anywhere else (this email appears to have come from South Africa). He’s [Continue reading **Spiritual Call To Humanitarian Accomplishment**]
In the UK there is no such thing as an “attorney at law” – that’s an American phrase. We have a different legal system and have solicitors or barristers. Of course most people who receive this scam won’t know that, as I imagine it has been sent to millions of people worldwide. “Morris Wright Becker” doesn’t know who you are, he doesn’t even know your name, which is why he addresses you as “client”, [Continue reading ATTENTION:Client]
NEVER click on a link in a PayPal or bank email. If you think there might be a problem with your PayPal account, enter the address of the PayPal website directly into your browser. If you point your mouse at the link in this email, the address displayed at the bottom of your screen is NOT the address of the paypal website.
If you think you might have accidentally given your paypal account [Continue reading You have 1 new ALERT message]
Sent by a reader, this may be the shortest scam email on record. Sent from the reassuring email address of rrsdadfgfhj@sbcglobal.net. I think the sender might have had too much of the Irish Whiskey.
Your email have won £891,934.00 Send:Name,Age, Address, Tel,Country
The only reason why “Mrs Kate Rose” advises you to keep this email confidential is because she doesn’t want someone like me to expose her as a scammer. Sorry – too late.
I can only say here, what I have said many times before. No organisation anywhere, ever holds random email draws. You cannot win a lottery or draw that you haven’t entered.
If you reply to “Mrs Rose” you will find yourself being [Continue reading LUCKY YOU-EURO MILLION PROMO 2010]
I am not this scammer’s “Dear” and he clearly doesn’t have the brains to make up a story for his scam. In short “Mr Jiang Jianmin” is going to have a very short career as a scammer – I would suggest he finds himself a proper job.
Just ignore this incompetent scammer. If you make the mistake of replying, you will quickly realise that the only business proposal he has in mind, is one [Continue reading Contact Me]
This scammer was too lazy even to hide the address of his scam website. Be careful of this scam – the deadline for submission of UK accounts to the Inland Revenue was 31 Jan. This scam comes all of 5 days later.
If this was genuine the Revenue would not address you as “Dear United Kingdom Resident”. They would know exactly who you are and address you by your name.
If you make the [Continue reading E-mail ID #1NL75743J/UK]
“Bill Wardarms” writes from China (according to the website ip2location) to tell me he “deemed it necessary to inform” me that I’ve won a fake lottery.
The only reason why he “deemed it necessary” is because “Bill Wardarms” is a lazy toad who can’t be bothered to get of his backside and earn an honest living. He has decided to try scamming instead.
Ignore him. If you make the mistake of replying, he will [Continue reading CONTACT DR SAM ARIEL]
