PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE USING THIS BLOG.
ALL the lotteries, draws, compensation schemes, inheritances, payment agent or mystery shopper jobs and business proposals offering huge sums of money are SCAMS. You CAN'T WIN a lottery or prize draw you HAVEN'T ENTERED.
Please don't post comments asking if the SCAMS you have received are real.
PLEASE DON'T LEAVE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS IN A COMMENT ASKING SCAMMERS TO CONTACT YOU (yes, people really do this regularly!)
“Ming Yang” has sent me a “note”. I think “Ming Yang” should go back to scam school – or better still, just back to school. This scammer fairly obviously doesn’t have millions of dollars and s/he certainly doesn’t work for a bank.
The only money this scammer is interested in is yours, as he’s hoping you will be daft enough to start sending him money. Just ignore him or her.
An Iraqi [Continue reading NOTE]
This load of drivel was forwarded to me by a reader. It’s total rubbish, poor spelling, bad grammar and absolutely no the type of email that a top class hotel would send.
There are no job vacancies. This is a scammer who is hoping to take money from you by charging you fees.
If you are in any doubt that this is a scam, check out this page from the Omni Hotels website 2010/2011 OMNI HOTEL EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMME:]
“Prince John Mabaso” has a confidential proposal for me. It’s so confidential that he has sent the same proposal to thousands of potential victims. Ignore the rubbish sob story. Prince Mabaso is a scammer. He isn’t rich and he certainly doesn’t want to share millions of dollars with you. What he does want to do is take your money by charging you fees.
Ignore this scammer.
Dear Friend,
Don’t be [Continue reading CONFIDENTIAL BUSINESS PROPOSAL]
It’s been a while since I’ve heard from “Frank James” (or yet another scammer using that name). He tells me that he has an assignment “in your area” but as he has no idea who I am he clearly has no idea what my “area” is.
To see how these scam mystery shopping assignments work, take a look at the scam victims page of this site.
Ignore this scammer. There is no mystery shopping [Continue reading MYSTERY SHOPPER POSITION AVAILABLE]
………. and yet another scam prize draw. There is no such thing as “The Heineken UEFA Promotional Group”. If you follow the web link (which takes you to the REAL Heineken website) you will see that the only prize on offer is a trip to Brazil.
This is just a scammer, who wants to take your money by charging you fees. Ignore him or her.

Here we go again. As it says at the top of every page of this site – you cannot win a draw you haven’t entered.
This is just a scammer who wants to take money from you by charging you fees. Why would “Global Finance” (whoever they are!) run a random email draw for no good reason? They wouldn’t. They haven’t.
If you make the mistake of replying you will find yourself being asked [Continue reading OFFICIAL WINNING NOTIFICATION]
“Dr. Raymond Kuo Fung CHIEN” seems to think he is a magazine article – he tells me to “Write Me”. He then goes on to tell me the old, old story of being a high ranking banking official whose client died along with all his family leaving millions of unclaimed dollars which this scammer (I mean high ranking bank official) will share with me.
Does this sound plausible? No. Would the real Chief Financial [Continue reading Write Me]
NEVER click on a link in a PayPal email – even if you think it might be genuine. ALWAYS enter the address of the PayPal website directly into your browser.
This is a scammer, who probably wants all your credit card details. If you think you have accidentally given your credit card or bank account details to a scammer, contact your bank immediately. If you think someone else might have access to your PayPal [Continue reading Update Your Account]
“Mr Tsepo Moloi” is a liar. He tells me that he proposes to give me 30% of $45m. He doesn’t propose any such thing. What he wants to do is take money from me. He doesn’t have $45m – if he did, he certainly wouldn’t need to send out thousands of random emails to unknown people around the world asking for assitance.
If you make the mistake of replying, you will find a scammer [Continue reading INVITATION FOR PARTNER..]
A reader forwarded me this with the comment that “Okay, I’m guessin’, but this just can’t be for real!!!”
How right she is. The scammer claims that a “prestigious” global summit is taking place in a week’s time at the Royal Park Hotel – which will provide all the accommodation. Yeah, right. The Royal Park Hotel has 48 bedrooms and, at the time of writing this, has rooms available for those nights. If you [Continue reading Fw: United Nations Conference Invitation]
