PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE USING THIS BLOG.
ALL the lotteries, draws, compensation schemes, inheritances, payment agent or mystery shopper jobs and business proposals offering huge sums of money are SCAMS. You CAN'T WIN a lottery or prize draw you HAVEN'T ENTERED.
Please don't post comments asking if the SCAMS you have received are real.
PLEASE DON'T LEAVE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS IN A COMMENT ASKING SCAMMERS TO CONTACT YOU (yes, people really do this regularly!)
A reader forwarded me this scam. The only reason that “Rose” wants to “correspondre avec vous” is because she is after your money. She gives you a clue in her little love letter – “Je voyage beaucoup”. If you make the mistake of replying it wont be long before she starts asking you for money to pay her fares – she’ll tell you she has had everything stolen and needs money, or that she [Continue reading Rose désire correspondre avec vous]
A reader forwarded me this scam – and I couldn’t resist adding here. Why? Because of the wonderful name that the scammer has chosen for his scam loan merchant – “Rev Smith Shady”.
I won’t say much more. I’m sure you can see immediately this is a scam. No company website, no company name, no address, no accreditations, no ……… well, no anything really.
If you make the mistake of replying to the “Rev [Continue reading Fw: !!!!! LOAN NOTIFICATION !!!!!]
I’ve had a spate of fake UPS Delivery emails. Apparently I failed to receive parcels on a variety of dates in Dec 2009 and January 2010. You might wonder why it would take UPS until the middle of April to let me know???
The reason is simple. There were no parcels. DON’T OPEN THE ATTACHMENT. It contains a Trojan that will infect your computer with fake virus alerts. I spent several hours removing it [Continue reading UPS Delivery Problem NR 73264 UPS Delivery Problem NR 37291]
This scammer seems to think that a professional “attorney” would address a potential client by saying “Goodday”.
Just in case you aren’t convinced that this is a scammer:
a) we don’t have “attorneys” in the UK – we have solicitors or barristers.
b) no professional lawyer would use a cell phone number.
c) a professional UK lawyer would write in grammatical English (I hope!)
“George Amyote” is a scammer who wants to take money [Continue reading VERY CONFIDENTIAL (REPLY URGENTLY)]
For some reason “Mr Paul Lawson” seems to think that if he writes his scam in capital letters I might take notice of him. I can’t imagine why he would think that.
Have you noticed how many scammers you a “fill in the blanks template” for their scams and then forget to remove the brackets??? This is one of those scammers. Just ignore him. He doesn’t work for a bank and he doesn’t have [Continue reading REPLY ME IMMEDIATELY,]
This scammer wants me (or you) to stop paying “outrageous amount of money” to other scammers and send money to him instead. He even has the nerve to tell you how much money to send.
I’m sure you aren’t expecting $450k from a contract or an inheritance or a fake lottery or from gambling or from an international loan. So if you are reading this, I can’t imagine what would make you think this [Continue reading Re: Our Payment Policy 2010!!!!]
The “Malvern Cosmetics Company” aren’t looking for an employee – in your country or state – or anywhere. They are after victims to take money from.
This is a scammer(s) who is hoping you will fall for the scam so they can take money from you. If you want to know how these fake job scams work, take a look at the scam victim’s page of this site. To put it simply, you will [Continue reading Employment Opportunity]
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a scam PayPal email – so here is one.
NEVER click on a link in a PayPal email, even if you think it is genuine. ALWAYS enter the address of the PayPal website directly into your browser and login to your account.
This is an obvious scam: a) it addresses me as “Dear PayPal Member” instead of using my registered username, b) it wasn’t sent to my [Continue reading Update Your Account]
Here we go again. Yet another fake “barrister” whose client died in a terrible accident leaving millions of unclaimed dollars. If “Barrister Ahmed” really was a barrister, he’s clearly a dishonest one who wants to steal his deceased client’s money. Would you trust a dishonest barrister? Of course you wouldn’t. As it happens, “Barrister Ahmed” isn’t a dishonest barrister – he’s a scammer and a liar.
There are no millions of dollars. If you [Continue reading FROM BARRISTER.ZAKIR NAIK AHMED]
This sneaky email came with an attachment. I didn’t open it and neither should you. Why would Facebook need to send an attachment just for a new password? They wouldn’t – I’m fairly sure that attachment contains a Trojan or something else nasty that you don’t want on your computer.
Facebook will NEVER email you a new password UNLESS you click on the link in Facebook because you have forgotten your password.
If you [Continue reading Facebook Password Reset Confirmation! Your Support]
