A reader in the USA forwarded me this scam.  She commented that “Luckily” she has a sense of humour. As, apparently, did Mr/Ms Nelson’s parents when they named their infant prodigy.

James William isn’t in Japan and he has no intention of sending you money.  He wants you to send him money – he’s a thief who wants to steal your hard earned cash.
