This was sent to me by a reader. It seems my reader replied to an initial scam email telling her she had won $1.7m. Fortunately she understood this was a scam and she has forwarded me the scammer’s reply and some very badly put together “official” documents which are supposed to prove the scam is a genuine win.
I’ve added the documents at the bottom of this post. Notice that in the second one, the scammer is asking the potential victim to send 1256 Euros. If you’re bored, you can have fun examining them for spelling mistakes and bad handling of whichever graphics package the scammer used to put them together.
Maybe I should run a “spot the mistakes” competition? Oh – and a “what is the scammer really called” competition.
