Paypal Account Alert Case ID Number: OBUTRXX84441
Paypal scams are becoming increasingly common. NEVER click on a link in a Paypal email, even if you think it has come from them. ALWAYS enter the address of the Paypal website directly into your browser. Log into your account. If you believe there is a problem with your account, contact Paypal directly through the website after logging into your account.
How do I know this email is a scam? If I point my mouse at the web address link and DON’T CLICK. This is the web address that is displayed at the bottom left of the screen:This is not the address of the real paypal website. If you are a Paypal user, make sure you know the address of the real website. This will help you spot the fakes. In this case, the scammers have added “paypal.com” onto the “servertasrimbu.com” website.
If you’re wondering how the correct web address appears in the body of the email, while the address of the fake website is displayed at the bottom of the screen, join our mailing list and download “anatomy of a bank phishing email”. This will tell you all how these false links are made by the scammers.
