RESERVATION

It’s been a while since this blog entered the murky world of hotel scams.  Thanks to a friend who runs a bed and breakfast establishment I have two to offer.  Once you’ve seen one of these scams they are easy to recognise.  Always a third party who wants to book for two or more couples.  Usually for 5 days or a week.

If you make the mistake of replying the scammer will come up with reason why he should pay you more than you are asking – telling you to forward the rest to someone else.  Or he will ask you to pay for air fares/car hire and then charge it to him.  Whatever scam he comes up with, it will involve you sending money to the scammer.  Just ignore these scammers.
