At the end of Episode 1 Michael Logan promised Denise he was about to go straight. In this episode he’s talking to Annie and a fellow scambaiter. He felt a change of career coming on – in Episode one he was a businessman in Poland. Now he’s on deployment with the army in Afghanistan, unless he’s in Manchester in the UK. Or possibly somewhere else. Or maybe he isn’t in the army at all and has a totally different way of earning money. Who knows – he certainly doesn’t.
