IMPORTANT: Alert about your Tiscali Internet billing information on file
This isn’t a legitimate email from Tiscali. Firstly it’s written in poor English. Secondly – if you point your mouse at the link in the email (don’t click) you will see that the web address displayed at the bottom of your screen ISN’T the address of the Tiscali website. It’s a scam site which the scammer has hacked onto a legitimate website.
What does the scammer want? I clicked on the link, entered a madeup email address and password and was taken to the following screen, where the scammer asks for my credit card details, including my security number. If you fall for this scam you will find that your card details have been stolen and your card used illegally.
Delete the email and don’t click on the link.
