There seems to be an increasing trend amongst scammers to send their scam forms as attached html pages. These open in your web browser – you fill in all your details – click on submit and, hey presto, send all your details to a scammer.
NEVER click on a link in a PayPal email and NEVER fill in a form attached to an email. ALWAYS enter the address of the PayPal website directly into your browser. If there is a problem with your account you will see it in your user area.
If you look at the form attached to this email you will see that the scammer doesn’t ask for your PayPal account details – your are asked for all your credit card details.
If you think you might have accidentally given your credit card details to a scammer, contact your card company immediately.
